What they found - Our ultrasound!

We just had our 20 week ultrasound and the baby looks good. I have to go back in 6 weeks for another as this baby did not want to show it's face, and the tech didn't get a good view of one of the ventricles. As for the sex of the baby, let's just say that when my doctor walked into the room, she said "we need to figure some way for you to be able to recycle wedding dresses!" That's right, it's a GIRL! We were all so sure it was a boy, so it was quite the surprise to find girl parts. (Although, who is really surprised, we've had 4 girls already!!) We're very excited though!

We had all the kids with us during the ultrasound (no school today) and Clay kept expressing how much he wanted a brother (Really? Who can blame him!). The tech asked what he would do if it was another sister. Clay says "I'd scream right here in this office. No, I'd go to the roof and scream!" They kids were patient enough as the baby was measured and right near the end the tech looked at Clay and said "I think you're going to have another sister, it's a girl." Clay screams. "I told you I'd scream right here."

I hung back in the office for my appt with the dr while the kids went outside to play with Ryan. We're getting into the van and Clay starts to cry. "I'm never going to get a brother." Probably not bud, but I think you'll be okay. Right John? :)

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!! We are so excited for you. It's Mom and Dad but I can't remember our password. (That is so lame.) I'm sorry Clay. You and Uncle John only had all sisters and so far that's all Johnny and Blake have too. We're soooooooooo excited. Love you all sooooooooooooooooo much.

I am so excited for you! I'm happy you're having a girl. I wish I was having one with you. A cat will have to do for now. Poor Clay, I know that Johnny keeps asking for a brother also. With Josie around though, I'm not sure we could handle anything else around here. We're so,so,so happy for you! I wish there were a way to recycle wedding dresses, hey, maybe you should start your own wedding dress business!

Congratulations! I feel convinced that we're having a boy, so maybe I'll be surprised too! At least Clay has some cool boy cousins his age to play with!

I can't believe it. I really did think it was going to be a boy. Whoa! Now I'm even more curious what Christina will be having. Congratulations. I guess, Ryan is the most sensitive man in the family!

I'm so excited for you! What are you gonna name her? I am so sorry clay! You could always adopt a brother! Better yet we'll send Jordan. He's a little lippie for me. JK! I went to the baby Grace site and clicked to another site who lost their baby and just cried for that poor family. Love you lots.

Honey, last night when I was tucking Blake into bed he was talking about how Ashley was his sister, and I and I asked him if he ever wishes he had a brother, he replies "I already have a brother." I said, "who?" He said,"Playton, and he is my best friend." Then he added and "Kaycee Roof is my best friend." So now you can tell Clay that Blake considers him a brother. :) Love you.
