Little Lucy Bean

(I am falling behind so quickly. . .)

Last Friday, Lucy turned 3!

As sweet as she looks, this is more of what we've been getting lately. . .

Should I be surprised? This is the age where my girls start getting the real sass in their pants! Hopefully it fades in the coming months.

I asked Lucy what kind of cake she wanted and she yelled "Pancakes!"
Here are Lucy' 'pancakes'.

Plum - tuckered out in Daddy's arms.
Hope you had a wonderful 3rd birthday, sweetie pie. We love you more than words can say.

Kaycee's Graduation

Presenting our third pre-school graduate!

Isn't she cute?!

Miss Kaycee attended the same pre-school as Clay from an incredible lady in our ward. This year there were 8 kids and again, it was the cutest program ever! I loved it and they all did such a great job.

Kaycee doing her stuff!

Here is Kaycee receiving the MOST HAPPY award.
Here is what Miss Terry said about Kaycee:

KAYCEE's infectious smile is like a splash of sunshine on a rainy day and it has earned her the MOST HAPPY award. The level of excitement definitely escalates when Kaycee walk through the door. Everyone is her friend! She is also very helpful and loves to do little chores for me - which makes me happy as well! Kaycee plans to be a "dinosaur finder" when she grows up.

Thanks for a great year, Miss Terry!

Great job Kace! We love you!

Golf 2009

Look who came golfing with us this year. . .

Micki and Spencer!!

We were so happy to have (my sister) Micki and Spencer come visit us. We had such a fun weekend with them. I think my kids were in heaven. They had people to wake up, climb on, play with, hear stories from, bowl with, and shed some tears for (when it came time for them to go home) - we loved having them here!

Because we were having so much fun, the camera didn't make it out much - except for one late night, and then golf day.

This is our third year at the Sanctuary and we have such a good time. Having Micki and Spencer with us was the icing on the cake. It was a wonderful day!

Teeing Off:

I can guarantee that I swung at least 6 or 7 times before making ANY contact!

Micki had much better skills!

What? I didn't get Spencer?!

Him, too!

Until Next Year . . .

(Maybe I'll have better luck. . .)

Thanks for the fun!

(do I look ready for Winter or what?!)

Lunch with Olivia

Today, Clay decided to eat his lunch near his baby sister. Nature called, so Clay returned to this:

Oops.
