It's SNOW fun

I believe it's the first "Blizzard" Warning we've had since we've lived here (almost 6 years!). Thankfully, we had no place we needed to be. Many of the schools closed, yet we didn't have to worry thanks to Spring Break. Yesterday, Ryan's office closed at noon so we all just hunkered down and stayed cozy while the snow whipped around.

Outside our front door mid afternoon, yesterday.

Today, the sun is shining and the snow drifts were calling the kids' names. Here's the fun.

I wanted this in the garage...bummer.

So fun! I remember my brother making the coolest igloos.

Lucy through the glass.
She had been out there playing, but just got too cold.
She was also very enticed by this:

Perhaps, the best part.

CHEERS!

A Smile Changed

Miss Rylee is growing up.
From this:

Just days later to this:

Although this isn't the first tooth she's lost, it makes me a little sad to see her adorable smile change. Not that she's not a cutie pie still (she'll ALWAYS be beautiful), it's just a step that makes my heart hurt a little.

I'm such a baby.
And, I'm okay with that.

Because February wasn't over...

A 6 year old named Clay + a friend + a bicycle - a helmet + a steep hill =

A HUGE knot on his skinned forehead,
and bloody, skid marked chin,
a trip home carried by Brian and Jeremy (two priests in our ward that came to his rescue!),
a frazzled mother,
our 3rd trip to the ER in 2 weeks,
a CT scan
AND a concussion.

Dare I say we've learned our lesson? I guess we'll see.
