I Told You So!

It doesn't take long for our babies to chunk right up.
I told you those cheeks were coming!

Can you believe sweet Henry is 6 weeks old today? I can't.
And frankly, it makes me pretty sad that he's growing so quickly.
He doesn't seem to act his age either. He reminds me of how a 2-3 month old baby would be (and the size of his clothes agree with me).
Sigh . . .

Sleeping Babe

I thought about softening this picture - I had to use my flash, but then I found I would lose the fun colors that are such a cute part of our babe. I love this picture and how she is snuggling her blanket and how her foot is up just right to show off just how adorable these little monkey jammies are.
But, of course, as cute as any little footed pajamas may be,
our sweet baby girl is that much cuter. Just adorable.

Somebody, please slow down time.

It's That Time Again

Today, it's BACK TO SCHOOL and at a NEW school this year, too.

Miss Kaycee starts Kindergarten. Miss Rylee into grade 3. And, Clay man into grade 1.

So happy. They woke up extra early so they wouldn't miss this:


That's right folks! After three years of being the chauffeur, this beauty will take over.
I'll still have to pick up Kaycee at noon, but that's it.
I must admit though that I got a pretty good sized lump in my throat as I watched the kids leave.

We took the plunge and let them take the bus the VERY first day.
How can they be growing so fast?

A Smile Changed

Miss Rylee is growing up.

Although this isn't the first tooth she's lost, it makes me a little sad to see her adorable smile change. Not that she's not a cutie pie still (she'll ALWAYS be beautiful), it's just a step that makes my heart hurt a little.

I'm such a baby.
And, I'm okay with that.
