For the Books

If there was just one thing that got me excited about blogging it is because you can do this:

Publish. your. blog. Family history, journaling, done. So neat.
We are now published from start (end of 2006) thru 2009. 3 books.
Here they are - front and backs.

I think I had just as much fun making this collage

I purposely did them all similar - like a series, by year. And, oh how we love them. You might even be able to see all the fingerprints on the black one. We all love to go back and look at pictures and read of things we did or funny things the kids said. Love it. Do it. Really.

And, here's something else for the books. Ryan and I were invited to a celebration dinner last night at a pretty posh restaurant with the co-founders, CEO, CFO, COO, President, Chief Legal Officer and VP of finance, of the company Ryan works for (think red, white and blue hot air balloon). All of these TOP DOGS and then...us. No Chief Officer or VP anything. Whoa, pretty cool. Although, the fabulous food didn't help with my weigh in at my dr appt this morning :) it was sure neat to be there and hear what an awesome job Ryan did in helping make everything happen. With a company that's global, pretty cool to have these head honchos know your name and recognize and appreciate your work. So proud of my husband.

Congratulations to the company and congrats to us for making it through the months of January to April!

I love your books. I totally didn't see this on my blog scroll thing. High five on the posh dinner. That is awesome.

Where did you publish yours? I've been "planning" to publish ours for over a year now but you know how that goes :o)

Debbie, I used Blurb. I chose to do the books page by page. Once I got the hang of it, it went pretty quick. Do it :) You'll love them.
